I have a friend who thinks Tra Vigne is heavenly. It's the place she'd most likely to bring friends from out of town when they visit Napa.

I've had wonderful meals at the restaurant at Domaine Chandon (the champagne maker) in Yountville. One time 4 of us flew to Napa from the LA area, then proceeded to waste away the afternoon on their patio with whatever they were serving, and lots of wonderful champagne (oops, Napa valley brut). When you make a dinner reservation they will tell you they have nothing available. But insist. Eventually they will squeeze you in. Domaine Chandon is excellent. Also, though I haven't been, I've heard that the Auberge du Soleil is exceelnt too... Someone wrote: : Anyone recommend a few restaurants in Napa? : We have enjoyed Mustards and Tres Vigne. : Thanks

Someone wrote: : Anyone recommend a few restaurants in Napa? : We have enjoyed Mustards and Tres Vigne. : Thanks We have a few Napa Valley restaurants on-line at http://www.freerun.com/ Click on Visitor Information or restaurants. Domaine Chandon is there among others. You might also cilick on the Visitors Bulletin Board under Restaurant comments. A variety of folks have mentioned restaurants they have enjoyed. -cheers
Since you have already tried Tre Vigne and Mustard's, I would recommend: Trilogy, St. Helena JDB Sacramento, CA
Someone wrote: : Anyone recommend a few restaurants in Napa? : We have enjoyed Mustards and Tres Vigne. : Thanks Try Auberge du Soleil. My wife and I had lunch there a few years ago. We ate on the terrace out back. Excellent food, great atmosphere. Barry Nothing is as it seems.

>Someone wrote: >Anyone recommend a few restaurants in Napa? >We have enjoyed Mustards and Tres Vigne. >Thanks> Tres Vigne is one of my most favorite places. I heard of another one - but can't remember the name. (The name is french and I think has Soleil in it...) Anyway, I heard it was fabulous. When I remember, I'll e-mail you... Olga Hernandez
