I'm thinking of any place between Palo Alto and South SF. Try Kuleto's. It is located right alongside Highway 101 in Burlingame, just south of the San Francisco Airport. You can see the restaurant from the highway. I think it is the Broadway exit. If you are going north on 101, it will be on your left. I was out there a couple months ago and the meal was excellent.

Another place close to the airport, on El Camino Real, is the Hong Kong Flower Lounge. It's a real gaudy-looking Chinese palace sort of place, but the food is *very* good. It has been called the best Cantonese restaurant outside of China by one of the food/travel magazines. (It used to be even better, though, back when it was in a plain, featureless building a couple of miles down the road; I had one of the 3 or 4 best meals of my life there). Larry Owen

Wight More Burlingame yummies: Kuletos - yep, *the* Kuletos Ecco - Excellent continental fare Nathans - Ditto Jun - Fabulous sushi Kincaids - Good meat and fish, try the hot crab/cheese appetizer All of these are easily accessible off the freeway in Burlingame.

I especially like the way they prepare fish. Give the tuna a try. Regards, Roger Trigg ([email removed])

It's the only Thai restaurant I have found in the area that I like. Exit 101 on Broadway/Burlingame and turn left, over the freeway. Bua Tong is on your right, 1 1/2 blocks before you get to El Camino. The restaurant is family owned and run (as are most Thai places, I guess) and the food quality has been consistently high every time I eat there, which has been about 10 years.
