Another great French restaurant:

Cafe Blanc in Beverly Hills, Zagat guide rates it as one of the best. It is very reasonably priced but it is prie fixe (spelling??) so bring your appetite. Also it is avery small place so be sure to call for reservations (310) 888-0108. At the corner of Wilshire and Little Santa Monica next to Budget Rent-a-car.
