Japanese joints, kaiseki, okonomi-yaki, racism, etc

I've never tried Azuma in San Carlos. My current favorite for Japanese is Tokie's in Foster City. Reliable, good sushi. Light tempuras. And reasonably good sukiyaki, although I prefer the sukiyaki at Jiro in Union City, or at least I did when I last ate there 5 years ago.
