I was recently introduced to Hot Pot-style Chinese eating at Coriya Hot Pot on Clement Street in San Francisco. The food was great and the fact that it was all-you-can eat was even better.

My question: Where can I find more Hot Pot places in the Bay Area, and which are the best?

There's another hot-pot place further down on Clement (3-4 blocks from Park Presidio), and another one on Geary and 9th (if I'm not wrong) called "Heavenly Hot". The one that I recommend most is the hot-pot in Hong Kong East Ocean restaurant in Emeryville. It may be a bit pricey compared to the ones in SF but it's well worth the money. East Ocean doesn't use MSG in the soup for the hot-pot (as far as my tongue can tell) compared to the ones in SF, which probably stir a pack MSG into hot-water for the soup. Call ahead though if you're going on the weekends, that place is packed, and also, the hot-pot is only available during winter and it's not all-you-can-eat.
