"Gypsy Cellar" is rather strange. From the outside it looks like it might have been a fast food place at one time. Inside, the ceiling is draped with what might be called tappestries on a charitable night, giving the place an atmosphere that is unusual and rather nice. There is a moderately talented violinist (perhaps the owner?) who plays eastern european and classic tunes. Unlike many musicians, he doesn't come around and play requests badly for tips. He's part of the atmosphere. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food is pretty good. Especially some of the side-dishes like the dumplings. Not a good place for a vegitarian, however. Relatively inexpensive. Recomended as a "fun" place to eat a good but not great meal. BillW
