They also serve drinkable beer. The outside area in the back is nice. But the inside has a high noisak level as the evening progresses. The Jupiter is across the street from the BART.

Good Pizza in East Bay?
Nino's, LoCoco's, and Cheese Board pizza (very eccentric hours) are all worth trying. Rustica's good for fancy upscale toppings, though expensive. If you like that style, you should try the cafe upstairs at Chez Panisse, which started the trend years ago. (Wolfgang Puck borrowed the idea for the more famous Spago.) Zachary's usually tops the local polls. Personally I find its deep-dish so-called Chicago-style pizzas soggy and doughy, but the flat pizzas can be good--though the dough's kind of eccentric, crunchy rather than stretchy and chewy. The chorizo special's my favorite.

Best NY-style slice is at Arinell's on Shattuck in downtown Berkeley. Good pizzas of a more gourmet-style can be had at Pizza Rustica on College Avenue. Not sure about their Solano Avenue location. -dx

You owe it to yourself to visit this place, which has an amazing selection of cheeses, great take-home pizzas, and probably the best baguettes available in the Bay Area. Greg
