Hey, I was in Sacramento this weekend and I found a Big Kahuna Burger. Yep the one featured in Pulp fiction. It was great! The bun is homemade and it is decked out with all the toppings. With a surpise topping that I thought was really good but never saw before, cabbage instead of lettuce. You have to have a major appetite to finish it. I split one and was more than filled up. First time visitors get a free order of Kahuna Balls you will have to discover these for yourself ;)
The owner said that this was the first one opened in the lower 48. For those of you in Sacramento check it out at... 5949 Watt Ave. North Highlands Sacramento

. . . Rob . . . for your Sacramento.* opus, if
available. Hoping to get out there in a fortnight's
time.
V. much appreciated!
(Sad note: Touchets {Lafayette crawfish house I
recommended highly} has recently gone out of
business. A great blow, since their gumbo was down
home brilliant, even in an exalted field down there.
I knew in my heart the end was nigh when they
instituted a "buffet" a couple of years back. I wish
selective nuclear strikes on ALL buffets could be
orchestrated: the world would indeed be a safer, and
tastier, place.)
