The "Safeway Mall" where Nation's and Fluffy Donuts were located has undergone a huge transformation. They did some major remodeling in the last six months, and most of their tenants left. (They painted the building orange!!Yikes) There are only a couple of original occupants still in the building, and a couple of new ones. State Market replaced Safeway; Payless is still there but only for a short time--will move to where the old State Market was across the street. The Graduate is still there, and still serves great burgers, sandwiches and fries. Also, Las Esperanza II is there--great Mexican food. And then there's Teriyaki Express-- small little place that serves chicken and beef teriyaki bowls to go. Robin Pleau
