There are several such places in the South Bay.

Little Mermaid is a Danish restaurant/deli on California Ave in Palo Alto. Good sandwiches, danish specialties available for lunch and dinner. Fairly inexpensive, aside from some of the bottled/canned items.

There is a place in Redwood City on El Camino called the 'Copenhagen Restaurant'. I have never tried it, so I can't give you any indication of its authenticity or quality.

If you are willing to stretch to other Scandinavian cuisines, then I encourage you to try Fanny and Alexander on Emerson in Palo Alto. The food is excellent -- well prepared and nicely presented. They offer traditional Swedish dishes with an imaginative flair. It is an especially nice place to go on summer evenings (to dine al fresco). They have just changed their menu to make more of the dishes available a la carte, so you can make your own combination of sill, gravlax, koettbullar (meatballs), and so on. Try it!
