In downtown San Jose there's a Vietnamese deli on Santa Clara street that sells those sandwiches for a buck! The roasted and barbecued pork is to die for! They also have the small plates of rice or rice-noodles and chicken or beef or pork etc. Don't have the name and exact location but when get name will pass on. If it's any help it's in downtown on Santa Clara street, cross-street, I'm guessing around 9th? 8th?..... I think you are talking about: Thanh Huong Sandwiches [*] 58 S. 4th St. San Jose, CA (408) 277-0170 Another good place, which has tables: Dakao Sandwiches 98 E. San Salvador St. (at 3rd) San Jose, CA (408) 286-7260 But, I don't think the people who started this thread were talking about Vietnamese sandwiches (or sendwiches). It's really a different category. * sorry about the missing diacritical marks
