I really enjoyed dinner at this restaurant tonight, so I thought I'd post a recommendation...

Passage to India
1100 W. El Camino Real
(between Shoreline and Castro)
Mountain View, CA 94040

I would really recommend it for authentic North Indian food. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, Karahi Chicken and Chicken Tikka Kabab, all of which were excellent. The Nans (bread) were also very fresh and well-prepared. The "chat" (appetizer) section is especially tempting with dishes like Pani Puri, Lamb Samosas, Paneer pakoras...

I've tried most of the Indian restaurants in the area, and I must say that I would rank this one as the best by far. Definitely worth a try if you're into North Indian food.

P.S. I don't usually read this newsgroup, but would welcome comments through mail.
