Good Luck finding lo-fat -- you might try the Rainbow News and Cafe which is near 1st and Broad, as I remember (haven't been back home in a year or so!). They have some vegetarian stuff and a great waitstaff in a good bookstore. If you didn't have to be low-fat, I'd recommend Sherwood BBQ on Robin Hood Road (they have a big sign of pigs nuzzling with the motto "This is why we never run out of BBQ). Don't drink the iced tea. Also on the high-fat list is the Krispy Kreme donut place on Stratford, and The Dessertery, a desserts-only place across the street. Try to pick up a "Triad Times" or whatever the free weekly is called now for ads. And enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather! Erin McKean who misses Winston-Salem often, especially in February in Chicago. . .
