I admit it, I am the braver of the 2 of us and will try just about anything that starts with Fried or BBQ. I kept seeing this little trailer on the weekends at the intersection of Tryon & Lake Wheeler Road so I said what the heck. I pulled in and also saw a taco truck and anyone with info about that as well let me know, but on to KK's.

All they serve are ribs, chickens, and whole wings. I ordered a half rack of ribs and half a chicken as well as potato salad. the lady working inside looked like she should be dying from the heat but was smiling and super nice the whole time. This is what my wife and I said when we dug in..... BEST RIBS & CHICKEN EVER!!. I know good BBQ and this was right up there with the best we have ever had. The sauce is added upon request, and comes with white bread. And let me tell you, you want to eat that bread as soon as you can because it soaks up the smoke, meat, and sauce flavors on contact. I stood at our counter and ate the bread, smearing sauce all over my face. The ribs are big, meaty, and tender, better than the chicken to me.

Now for pricing, chicken: $6 a half, $12 whole. Ribs: $11 half, $22 whold slab. A little pricy but well worht it, I plan to go back next weekend and get a whole rack.

As for the taco truck that was there too, any info on it???
