> My future husband and I will be spending our honeymoon in Sedona, AZ. > Since neither of us have ever been there before, we are looking for > "tried and true" suggestions to avoid the "errors" of "trial and error" > during the brief time we are there. > I can think of several, but you haven't stated where you'll be staying - which might be a factor. First, I reccommend most highly "Garland's Lodge", a small, intimate rustic lodge in Oak Creek, 10 miles north of Sedona. Chances are, you can't get reservations to stay there (but should try), but they allow 1 or 2 couples to makes dinner or breakfast reservations. The food, uniquely prepared by a French-trained master chef, is _outstanding_ and should not be missed. We've been staying there, every May, for the past 12 years. The menu, while fixed, is different every night. Two fine restaurants in Sedona are L'Auberge du Sedona <sp>, a lovely French Inn with a wonderful restaurant, and Enchantment, an excellent tennis ranch with a fine dining room. None of these places are inexpensive - they're all pricey, in fact. But, if you're coming to Sedona, you shouldn't deny yourself these pleasures. Enjoy!
