It's spacious and lively and has a live Mariachi band that performs regularly. A meal including drinks, appetizer, and tip costs about $20-25. Just my $0.02 worth. Leland Lim

Thanks! :>) For Mexican, I always like La Parillo Suiza (spelling is most likely incorrect), if it is still there, if not, La Fuenta is nice (mariachi band and all). Steaks, well, not sure if it is good or not, but the biggest T-bone I've ever had was the Cowboy at Pinnacle Peaks. For out and out good food, the restaurant at Loew's Canyon Ranch is recommended.
La Fuente currently has a wonderful Sunday brunch buffet, complete with maricachis and champagne. Best Chinese, southeast Asian restaurant is Seri Melaka. Mexican food is a delicate subject around here as to what is "best". Mi Nidito is good, Midway Molina is good. Li'l Abner's serves a good western steak, Pinnacle Peak has lots of atmosphere (be sure to wear a tie <wink, wink>) Hotel Park serves very expensive steak. Two very interesting restaurants are Presidio Grill and Kingfisher's. For out and out wonderfulness, try the patio at Cafe Terra Cotta. Deb Thompson

One place that was recommended by many Tucson locals was Mi Nidoto for Mexican. It was fabulous. Dinner for two, including appetizer and one imported beer was under $20. Have fun, it's a beautiful area. Don't miss the Desert Museum. Andy
