On the way across the US last winter, my husband and I happened upon a charming bistro, Chez Marc, in Flagstaff, when we were headed toward the Grand Canyon. It was intimate, quiet, and the food was spectacular. I think the chef was French-trained, and had recently opened his own place. We'd love to go again.

P.S: The Flagstaff hotel we stayed in (Embassy Suites) was pretty nice, too.
