I forgot a couple, if you're brave enough to go into not so nice neighborhoods--Carolina's in Phoenix (Mohave & 12th Street) and Filitos in Guadalupe (just south of Phoenix and Tempe). There's another place in Guadalupe in the blue mercado building that's very authentic, but I can't remember the name. Anyone know >any "don't miss" places for Southwestern and Mexican dining Take down my e-mail address...youre going to want to thank me. Unfortunately, I don't remember the actual name of this restaurant(!) It's in Scotsdale...within the walls of a fancy shopping center called the Borgatta(sp?). I'm certain it's the only Southwestern restaurant in the Borgatta. You'll know youre in the right place...this one's an offshoot of their original in(I believe) Tucson. But I still can't remember the name :) Trust me...go...enjoy...thank me later. Plus, if youre lucky, someone in rec.food.restaurants will give us the name before you leave for Phoenix. MarcoPolo
