The American Grill is history - the Scottsdale site has been replaced by (a) Houston's. Aunt Chilada's is still there - and good - if one is in the North Central part of Phoenix (18th Street & Morton). An excellent Mexican food place is Nola's, @ Biltmore Fashion Square, and a nice neighborhood place is Que Pasa (7th Street & Glendale). Southwestern fare is Sam's Cafe, at both the Biltmore Fashion Square and the Arizona Center, downtown.

Phoenix recommendations?
I second the recommendation for Nola's - it's very good. I would also add Los Dos Molinas on Central. It's excellent - but get there early if you're going on the weekend. They don't take reservations. Hilary _____________________________________________________________________________ Hilary E. H. Perkins [email removed]

They don't take reservations. We didn't get to Nola's, but did go to the branch of LDM out in Mesa. Funky little place, killer salsas, great food! Thanks for the recommendations, everyone!
