Our Gang Cafe, 7th St & Mountain View - indoor/outdoor NY-style Italian restaurant. Both are casual (almost _all_ of Phoenix is...) Favorite Restaurants in Phoenix?

Thanks. > > Lisa > [email removed] I didn't spend too much time in PHX, but while I was there I searched for some GREAT BBQ. A few bombs until finally I hit Waldo's (in Mesa). If you're a BBQ fan I highly recommend the trip.. Also, nearby the PHX airport, in the parking lot of an auto detailer, there's HAP's BBQ (SE corner of 24th and Jefferson). One picnic table serving open pit BBQ.
Regarding BBQ, try Honey Bear's, close to the airport. There is a place called Guido's Taco Shop, in Mesa and Chandler. Really unique and cheap. For Greek, try Biblos, in Tempe: outstanding, particularly the hummus. Alan Houston, TX

That's "Guedo's", pronounced "hweydo's". It's pretty good, but much better (and cheaper!) is Tacos Mexico, on the SW corner of Southern and 56th (aka Priest) in Tempe. To get your tongue completely seared, though, try Los Dos Molinos. >For Greek, try Biblos, in Tempe: outstanding, particularly the hummus. That's "Byblos." W. side of Mill, S. of Southern. Really good middle-eastern food; not specifically Greek. --Blair "Say 'keufteh khachkach' five times fast..."
