Terra Cotta is a great restaurant, but is really nouvelle southwestern cuisine. For more traditional Mexican, head to Cafe Poca Cosa (great salsa!!!). As for traditional Southwestern, I have no idea ...

Was just in Tucson and really enjoyed Cafe Terra Cotta (sp??). Food was Southwest - and very good. Plus it was a really comfortable place. Good wines. And affordable. I would define it as moderate but in relation to the quality of food, I would say inexpensive. It's located on the North side of town not far from the campus. Sorry I don;t have more exact directions.

I stand corrected, and she's right. Poco Cosa as authentic and terrific.
I'd still rather eat at Terra Cotta though.
