I too was not impressed with Alcatraz Brewing company. I recently dined at their new restaurant in Orange, Ca. The prison theme I thought would be a cool, different decor, but it was very tacky. The restaurant seemed like it needed more pictures or something. The food wasn't bad but not impressive. We both had sandwiches, mine a chicken melt sandwich and my friend a turkey sandwich that he hated, didn't even finish. My beer was excellent, but the service was awful. We had to flag down the busser to get extra napkins and another beer. Overal experience a 3 and would only go back to drink their beers at the bar or on the outside patio.
