Made around 1902 by George Ford Morris, this color lithograph advertises a dog show held by the Chicago Kennel Club. In the early 1900s, American kennel clubs staged exhibitions where breeders presented purebred dogs to judges, drawing owners, enthusiasts, and curious spectators.
