A printed schedule of home dates for Philadelphia's two major league clubs in 1915 gives a snapshot of a city with two teams at once. The Athletics played at Shibe Park, which had opened in 1909, while the National League Phillies played at the smaller Baker Bowl. The Phillies won the National League pennant that year under manager Pat Moran, then lost the World Series to the Boston Red Sox, so a schedule from that season marks a team at its height. Such cards were used by fans to plan trips to the ballpark and to keep track of the season.
