Hey All,

Went to the Willows last night. The Willows I am talking about is located just south of the Intersection (T intersection) of Bluemound & Prospect in Appleton.

I've always passed it to/from work and have been intrigued by it especially seeing it featured in the Fox Cities Magazine all the time.

I must report mixed results. I thouroughly enjoyed my dish. I had a dish of ravioli (cheese stuffed) with a tomatoe based sauce and smoked chicken. I had a glass of chianti with it. I was real keen on it. The specials sounded real good as well but were pricey and therefore did not order the special I was desiring. My wife's dish had rice (hence her desire to order it) and 1/2 chicken and asparagus. I have not tried it but she was not happy with it. It appeared that the chicken was a little underdone and she complained that the apsaragus was too salty and the rice was not cooked properly. I did not try her dish so I will leave the report at that however my dish was great (and being of Asian descent she is particular about her rice)!

The atmosphere was nice. I can almost imagine a dress code being enforced but I was dressed in jeans, blue short sleeved plaid and deck shoes and my wife was quite casual as well.

Our bill came out (tip included) to about $44.00 and this was for two entrees, one glass of chianti and one pepsi.

I would recomend that is worth trying it out!

Anyway
