Hey--I can only recommend a hamburger joint, but it's great.  On the west side of town is a townie bar called Alt'n'bachs...best cheeseburgers ever, served on rye buns.  Wonderful....try. P.King

Bahn Thai on Williamson St. has good Thai food.  Also on Williamson is Savory Thymes - good Vegetarian Restaurant (great breakfasts)  Try Pasqual's for Mexican (2 locations)   - enjoy!
