A couple of weeks ago some one asked about veg restaurants and I recommended sunlight. I must take that back, I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant. A friend of mine is suing his his employer for anti-semitism. Charges are pending against Eagle Paper Box. One of his supervisors has been harassing him at work since the legal proceedings started. He tells me she is also the owner of sunlight. I am not jewish but I do feel very strongly about this kind of negative behavior targeted at certain groups of people. Please do not eat at sunlight. My partner and I ate there about 3 months ago and loved it. The "starters" include potato bread from Macrina bakery (yummy!) and other assorted items which change on the chef's whim. Food is still pricey but melts in my mouth. Interesting wine list. Ask about the frequent diner's club if you like. Too pricey for your taste? Then go to Etta's Seafood instead; the newer, waterfront locale. Cheers! -Nancy On 16 Nov 1995, jake grafton wrote: > Dawn J. wrote: > > > > > How has this place held up? Ray's is also good though maybe a bit pricier(though if you are not a big eater, you can die on the less expensive menu in Rays cafe Upstairs at the same locale)
