Stellas

I have to agree that the whole Mitchelli's chain is sliding downhill. It
seems to be part of the Seattle curse that when a restaurant opens, it's
good for maybe a year before the food and service turns sour.

I had lunch at Stella's a couple weeks ago and ordered my favorite
(chicken Parmiagana). I hadn't eaten there for about a year. The last
time (last December) I was sorry that the prices had gone up a couple
bucks, but I still had more than enough to eat and the food was very
good). Last week I got half as much food for at least the same amount of
money, the noodle were over cooked AND undercooked, like the cook just
keeps periodicall adding pasta into the pot, the chicken was overdone and
the parmigiana seemed like it was processed (not even Kraft processed,
more like Western Family). The service was okay, the place was pretty
empty (noonish on Wednesday) but I felt that the waitress was rushing us
 all out the door.

I used to go to Stellas a couple times a week back in the early 90's when
I went to school and my roommate worked until 2am. We used to eat and
hang out until 4am and I thought the food was great (sure beat the hell
out of Denny's) I thought the same about Minnie's before it turned to
 crap too.

Are there any good 24 hour restaurants left in Seattle?
