> I will be visiting Seattle during the 4th of July weekend and need some > great suggestions for restaurants. I would prefer that it not be too > expensive, but have great seafood, great beer, terrific atmosphere and > most importantly a view. My party will have twelve people, three of > who have never been to the emerald city. Others will suggest the standards so let me tell you about something about 30 minutes south of the city that might be perfect for you. I am referring to the Dash Point Lobster Shop. Located on Dash Point in the Federal Way area the restaurant is located 30 ft. from a pier and a sandy public beach which you can walk down after dinner. Every table has a view of the ocean, Vashon Island, and the Olympic Penninsula. The seafood as as good as any and the wine list more than adequate. An excellent alternative, also on the waterfront and overlooking a Marina is Fish Cafe in Kirkland. Daniel A. Morgan
