I'll second Don's recommendations for Gaspare's and Luna Rossa (Geez, Don, were we separated at birth or something? We always seem to like the same things!), and toss in another over in Ballard: Pasta Bella, at 5909 15th Ave NW. If they have the special risotto on, it's a real treat. On the other hand, I've found Lombardi's (on Market [=NW 55th St] in Ballard) to be adequate, but no better than that.
