I enjoy the food at each of the following places. They're
listed in descending order of perceived food quality:

 1. #1 Teriaki, 301 2d. extension S., 623-7787
 (some personality, but no poshness)

 2. Han Il, 409 Maynard S., 587-0464
(more poshness than #1, but not all that much more)

 3. Shilla, 8th & Denny, 623-9996
(maybe a little more poshness than Han Il--definitely not as dim)

Han Il and Shilla offer Korean barbecue (Han Il over coals, Shilla
over gas burners. IMHO the best Korean food in town used to be at a
place on the Ave. (and ~43d St.) that has since turned into a straight
 teriaki joint.

the olympic restaurant in bellevue, sorry i forget where it is but i'm
sure it's listed, is really good...the atmosphere doesn't really
'feel' korean but the food is really good. bulgogi ahju mahshesuh! oh
 they have karaoke there too.

also hosoni's in edmonds on hwy 99 has real good spicy dishes and soups so
you might want to try there too.
