Kaspar's - a change of opinion

Some months ago I said that we had been disappointed with Kaspar's when we
went to eat at the old location. In spite of reservations we were forced to
sit watching others greeted like long lost kin and ushered right in, same
number parties etc. We were most disappointed to the point we didn't even
remember the food, but were unimpressed with the whole experience.

Recently we got a mailing since we live on Magnolia and they are on Queen
Anne. Our anniversary was coming up and we figured they do such attractive
things with special events it was a shame not to have them as a resource.
 So we went again.

In short, we had one of the nicest times we could have asked for. The
greeting was cordial and, even though we were 15 minutes early, we were
seated right away. The service was attentive and the busser was terrific.
We were very happy with the food (OK, the wonderful tasting sea bass hadn't
been fully pinned and there were some stems in the spinach... minutiae).
The server accommodated a wine request inventively and we felt that the
experience was well worth the price.

We are looking forward to returning.

They are located on West Harrison street on the corner of 1st West (if I
remember). Get them to send you a brochure.
