 > > Anybody have some good places for Sunday brunch?

Pescatori in Ballard near the locks was recommended to me as a place for
sunday brunch. The view was good, the food was just OK but the service
was rather poor. We made reservations 3 weeks in advance and we asked
for a window table. We were told that they did not reserve the window
tables in advance and that we should arrive early to get a window seat.
We came 30 minutes early (our reservations were at 10:30) and we were
told a window table would be ready around 10:30. This stuck us as a
little odd since there was hardly anyone in the resturant at the time.
About an hour and fifteen minutes later we were finally seated. We
inquired several times about the wait and we were told essentially that
it was our problem because we wanted to sit by the window. They
definitely did not have a "let's try to please the customer" attitude.
Also, the area outside the resturant was littered with empty glasses and
other trash. Last the men's restroom was disgusting. I was quite
disappointed since Pescatori tries to bill itself as an upscale
 resturant. ez

Also try CJ's on the corner of 1st and Cedar. Quick, hot, very tasty.
Nice and attentive waitstaff. I highly recommend it.
