Sat out on the deck on a warm evening - very pleasant. Interior has a somewhat upscale tavern/restaurant feel, but it is nothing special. Had the smoked duck quesedilla w/ habenero salsa - excellent. Friend had the grilled chicken sandwich - liked it alot. They have a fried oyster sandwich that looked fantastic. Good wine & beer choices. Little touches on the menu and the plate show that the kitchen obviously pays attention to the details here. The service was attentive and friendly. Prices may be a tad higher than you usually find in restaurants like this but I strongly feel the value is there. Finally, although the menu is a bit eclectic, Bick's is unpretentious and down-to-earth. The food and service deliver. Bon apetit, Chas

Anyone eaten at Bick's on Greenwood yet?

A fairly diverse, creative bistro type menu with an emphasis on S.W. flavors. Had a couple of pasta dishes there last week that were truly outstanding. Good selection of beers (including many on tap). Wine list pretty limited - generally inexpensive with a number of unusual but interesting offerings. Brought to you by the folks that used to own/operate the Arrowhead Cafe on Westlake. Nice ambience (especially considering the dismal north Greenwood setting) and friendly service. -Wes Wes Neuenschwander Seattle, WA, US ******************************************************* * Notice: Email address modified to foil SPAMMERS!! * * Delete "cut-it-out" from my email address * * to reply.
