They were mean to me when I stopped by with a book (no family). Sure, I was in jeans and a T-shirt, but this location (Shady Grove/270) is right next to a big LockMart campus; I can't be the only engineer to stop by on a Sunday. Plenty of tables, but I had to sit at the bar.

Food was OK, but I'd rather go to Maggiano's (Tyson's Corner (Galleria), great eggplant / escarole+sausage, killer tiramisu) or Joe's Pizza & Pasta (Gaithersburg, love their minestrone). Or, of course, Sotta Sopra, wonderful, unique, but Baltimore, so special occasions only. Hmm, I've been meaning to hit that Impressionist exhibit at the BMA...
