Try the lovely Thai Town, right across Connecticut Ave. from the Woodley Park Metro entrance. Great food, friendly staff, very nice dining room, reasonable prices. Actually, there isn't much difference in price among the Thai restaurants in town, as far as I've seen. Down the street on the other (west) side of Conn. Ave. is Thai Taste, not nearly as good these days, although it used to be great. Another nice place is Bua, on P Street just east of 17th NW. Bon appetit.
