Recommendations for Northern VA

Where exactly will you be in Northern Virgina... in the Reston area, try McCormick and Schmick seafood.. In Fairfax, Arties is a good choice for American fare.  Also in Faifax, Espositos has great Italian food.  Santa Fe East in Old Town Alexandria is also a good choice.

Clearly, the best special occasion restaurant in Northern VA is L'Auberge Chex Francois in Great Falls/
