I finally found a place called Levi's that has very good NC barbeque including the right kind of cole slaw and good hush puppies. This place is just inside the beltway on Route 210 (Oxon Hill Rd). It looks like it may have been an Arby's in a past life. It is not in the best neighborhood, but I felt ok having lunch there (and they have take out).
