If you're willing to go to Rockville, try the Vegetable Garden -- most if not all of their dishes are made without MSG, since they are catering to the natural foods/vegetarian/organic crowd.

Try the Chinese carry-out in the Westbard Shopping Center off River Road.  They never use MSG and their spicy dishes are quite good.  The non- spicy dishes are also above average.
