Moton's Steak House

My husband and I recently were given a gift certificate to Morton's Steak House as a gift. Neither him nor I had ever heard of the place, but when we looked it up it was rated $$$$$, so we went. We decided to go to the one in Georgetown because it was rated just a little higher than the one in Tysons. I would have to say that my impression of it was just ok for being such an expensive and highly rated restraunt. First of all if you go, make reservations. Everything on the menu is a la carte which is why it's sooo expensive, but that itsn't what turned me off, I guess it was the atmosphere. The people that go there are or seem very well to do or at least they think they are. Be sure to get non-smoking since everyone even the women (which I believe is a fad right now) are smoking cigars, and well the customers themselves are very rude. The staff however, is great. The service was great if only I was able to hear them since the restraunt was soooo loud. Overall, the food was good, but not outrageously good. I don't think if I had to chose a steak restraunt to go to I would chose that one.
