I had lunch at the Panshir restaurant, in Vienna last week. The food is really great, lunch about $10 per person, including tip. Locate on 123 just South of Magruders, same side, in shopping center at 123 and Lawyers road. All entrees come with a vegetable soup made with lots of spices. YUM!! The entrees vary, beef, lamb, chicken, or combos, most with rice. They bring a basket of warm bread, plenty for everyone. Our office now goes there for birthday lunches. Try their special hot spice tea.

The original Panjshir is smaller, more folksy, with almost the same menu. They're at 924 W Broad St in Falls Church (Route 7 just south of the W&OD bike trail crossover). 536-4566
