Good place for crabs in either Charles or calvert County

I suspect the reference to Charles county is to Pope's Creek (from the
beltway, take route 5 south until it becomes 301, turn off at Faulkner and Pope's Creek is down a country road on the Potomac). There are two places next to each other, Robertson's (our favorite) and I believe a Capt. John's. Both are very nice and something of a local institution. It's a bit of a drive, crabs are a tad expensive, but it's a definite must do. It's always been a big hit with out of town visitors (especially foreigners) who don't have time for the Eastern Shore ...

My friend who has lived in Calvert County for years recommends Stoney's (sp? - maybe without the 'e'). Two locations - near the oyster house and in Prince Frederick. He prefers the original location, near the oyster house, for ambience.
