The Hibiscus on K St. NW down by the Key Bridge? I wouldn't call Georgetown downtown, but you've got a wealth of opportunity. A few I went to (though they get a little farther out) Old Glory (M & Wisconson, barbecue) Dean and Delucca's outdoor cafe (M St., now that spring is there) Zed's (M St., Ethiopian) Peacock Cafe (just off Wisconson, quick lunch) Cajun Bangkok (Alexandria, yes, just what it sounds like) Bilbo Baggins (Alexandria, cozy) Chesapeake Crab and Seafood House (Vietnamese, Arlington) Bardo's (Arlington, grandly tacky brew-pub) The Brickcellar (food's so-so, but the beer list will stun you) Pho 75 (various places) Music City Roadhouse (Georgetown, great for groups) Moby Dick House of Kebab (Georgetown hole-in-the-wall but what a name!) Hard Times Chili Cafe (Alexandria) You are living in a land of restaurant plenty. Check out Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle areas and pick up a City Paper to guide you. David Cook
