Since you said "good inexpensive to moderately priced," I immediately thought of La Madelaine (sp?) Restaurant & Bakery. They serve Country French food in cafeteria fashion, but the atmosphere is homey and the food is excellent. I like the Rotisserie Chicken served with a good Caesar salad for about $8.00. If you're a coffee drinker, be sure to try their French Roast (with free refills). They also provide, on a help-yourself basis, fresh-baked bread with delicious jellies and preserves. Deserts are excellent, too, and most cost only $2.50 or so.

We go to the location in Rockville, MD, but they also have a location in Reston, VA. There are other locations as well; other folks might help with that info.
