There's one in Pentagon City (actually, in the "Pentagon Centre" mall across Hayes Street from The Mall). It's a reasonably fun place, if a bit flashy--there's no mistaking that you're in a mass-market place, as opposed to, say, El Tamarindo. But OTOH it's no Chi-Chi's; i.e., the food's actually pretty good. So I'd say go for it.

Cheers,

Rob

We've been to Chevy's in Greenbelt a couple of times. I also found the service so-so, but our real objection is the salsa! Its moderately hot, but the heat is from *black pepper*, not chili peppers, and so has a very distinctive taste, not to my liking.

Not bad, though, for a family with small kids. Atmosphere pretty nice, food ok - except that salsa -, prices low. Its much better than the Chili's (or Chi-Chi's, whatever) at the other end of the same mall's parking lot.

There is also one in Greenbelt..Right in the Greenbelt shopping center where 193 and 295 meet. I like the food, it's really quite good, but many time, the service has SUCKED. I was there last weekend, and order some REALLY spicy food. I asked for a water, and (10 minutes later) had to get up...walk into the kitchen and get it myself. A guy in a tie came up to me and told me I was not allowed in the kitchen. I told him thatt if my waiter had brought me the water I requested, I would not have come into his kitchen. ARRGHHH..it still annoys me. Oh well, at least I was able to save money in the tip area.
