When you have a reservation for 6 in busy Bethesda, they know that most people won't go anywhere else. To boot, the service was the worst I've ever had in an area restaurant. Making a reservation the day ahead was immaterial - they never referred to the reservation book when making us wait for a table. No greeting or goodbyes from any of the staff including the Maitre d'. Food arrived only partially prepared. For example, the appetizer came without its yogurt dressing and the main courses came without the pickles. Waiters didn't know which tables were theirs and didn't seem to care. Food tasted OK but was no better than the many other authentic Indian restaurants in the Washington area and they were more expensive, to boot. Stay away from this place. It stinks.
