Just north of Lynchburg, across the river is a place called "The Silver Pig". It's just a little place and pretty simple. I like it but I am not a BBQ connoisseur. There are lots of good restaurants in L'burg but that's the only BBQ place I know of in the area. It's about 4 miles across the river on Rt.29 North on the right hand side in Madison Heights. There is a good Japanese Steak House name Kyoto's. It's real good. Just ask where your staying for directions. It's easy to find. Near the mall in L'burg.
