Yes. Barbecue Ground Zero is well out of the South, it is in Kansas City.

I found a womderful joint in Vermont, west of Brattleboro on 9. Green Mountain Vittles, well worth the drive. Also, their nephew has

opened Beal Street Barbecue in Freeport, ME.

I am working on a full review of GMV, but don't wait, drive up there and have some.

Well, if you're in the Burlington, Vermont area, the place to go is Al's French Fry's on Williston Road (U.S. Rte. 2) in South Burlington - Exit 14E off of I-89. I have a friend from Contoocook, New Hampshire who tells me that his car cannot drive past Exit 14E without pulling itself off of the interstate and down to Al's. It's worth a try!!!!

I'm sure none of you care, but another place to go during the summer for great fries, is Joe's Snack Bar in Jericho, Vermont. Or during fair season, at the Vermont State Fair in Rutland, Roxie's fries are a MUST!!

So, there's the fries perspective from Vermont.

Enjoy!

Good Places
===========
1. Bove's
	Good Italian food, great prices. Get the red garlic sauce!
	Bove's is the quitessential cheap Italian scarf.

2. Some Indian restaurant near the corner of St. Micahael's and the UVM campuses.

3. Noonie's Deli for lunchtime sandwiches.

4. The Inn at Essex has opened since I left. This is run by the New England Culinary Institute. If it's like their restaurants in Montpelier, Tubbs & Elm Street Cafe, it will be worth checking out.
