I used to have the most wonderful dishes at a restaurant called "Food for Friends" in Brighton. A few of the meals stand out as the most memorable to date. The emphasis was on vegetarian recipes, and although I do eat meat, I feel that this restaurant provides superior meals. I personally would rank it number one in the world.
