I recommend the kobdeh kebabs from the Rusholme Chippy, Road, Manchester. Spiced minced lamb, cooked on a skewer in a tandoori, with extra chilli sauce. All wrapped up in a lovely fresh tandoori-cooked nan bread. Only problem being that they're a bit of a handful, being so large.

As well as tasting good, they're also an excellent barometer of sobriety - if you can't feel the pain from the chilli, you're well pissed.

Anyone ever had a Cremation Special from the Plaza on Upper Brooke St (which I believe is now history). A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Kebab shop opposite the Firkin in Epsom doesn't use processed meet, only slices of 'real' lamb or chicken. Tastes wonderful after 10 pints of Murphy's! :-)

Epsom is South of London, leave from Victoria or Waterloo.

The owner is Turkish.

They also do falafel.

Mmmm Murphy's and Kebab ... I'm off ...
